Resource governance and monitoring for the Fabric Administrator in the AI-era

Main tech topic is to discuss different approaches available to the Microsoftt Fabric Administrator to govern your resources, monitor activities in a hybrid dataplatform environment.

In a hybrid environment where part is centralized datamodelling/reporting, and part is a thriving selfservice-community. How do you enable this community, and how do you quantify this community? This requires some knowledge and skills about POWER BI REST API, which I will address in this technical deep-dive.

How do you serve the organization, the team and the individual creator? Together with the audience in the room we discover questions that come from different audiences Like “Which users are working on productivity hours?” Can we do that? So which audiences and questions can you group accordingly?

We go through data modelling of Fabric governance dashboards, compare them with out-of-the-box-functionality, licensing models and different approaches on datamodelling and different tools basis on Power BI REST API and Microsoft Graph.

Compare native tools on Microsoft Fabric, the Fabric toolbox on Github and some of the products out there. A next-step for the intermediate Fabric-administrators!
