This is a refinement of the workshop I gave in 2022 on writing flexible functions with generics and reflection. The updated material will focus specifically on how to implement the map/reduce pattern used for collection handling in functional programming languages.

New material will address how to evaluate the efficiency of code which makes use of generics and reflection, both from the point of view of benchmarking and of exploiting concurrency to speed execution on multicore hardware.
