The increasing prevalence of cyber threats poses significant risks to healthcare services, particularly in rural areas where resources are limited. This research aims to assess the impact of cyber threats on rural healthcare providers, focusing on the operational, financial, and patient care implications of such incidents. Through a quantitative research methodology, we will analyze cybersecurity incident reports and financial data from a sample of rural hospitals and clinics.
