Session

From exclusion to inclusion: accessibility for all.

It's time to change our perception of people with disabilities and internet use. In fact, people with disabilities are as active online as everyone else. However, they often face barriers when it comes to performing tasks like shopping online or filling out administrative forms. These difficulties arise when websites are not accessible.
1 billion people are disabled in the world, i.e. 15% of the world's population, and there are also many other people who find themselves in situations of temporary or situational disability. It is therefore essential to consider digital accessibility as a necessity from the beginning of any project.
The objective of this conference is to address the issues of digital accessibility and to help web professionals understand the importance of ensuring an inclusive online environment for all users.
