DeployOps: Gitless GitOps for Hundreds of Teams with Flux ResourceSets and OCI

GitOps promised developers a simpler path to production, but at enterprise scale it often means fleet repos nobody owns and platform teams acting as human merge queues. This session presents DeployOps, a pattern that keeps Flux reconciliation while removing Git as the deployment interface. Teams publish signed, digest-pinned OCI artifacts from their own CI. A thin self-service API renders Flux Operator ResourceSets that create each team's OCI sources and Kustomizations on target clusters. CI workload identity (GitHub OIDC) replaces long-lived tokens, and notification-controller events flow back to the developer's commit as a status check. Attendees will see the architecture, the ResourceSet templates, the identity model, and the tradeoffs a bank accepted to give developers a one-command deploy with a full feedback loop.
