WebRTC for Android Developers

WebRTC has existed natively in the browser for many years and it is also the fundamental technology for all type of real-time communication happening on the Internet today. But support for WebRTC for mobile developers have been very limited. You either have to rely on outdated libraries, expensive third-party services, or having to build a lot of solution from scratch yourself. You also needed a fairly intimate understanding of how WebRTC works, both on the client-side as well as in a backend.

In this session we will look at how WebRTC works, what you need to get started, what third-party solutions are available, and how to build your own.

This session is useful for anyone interested in real-time communication for Android apps, from video conferencing to audio-only group chat solutions.
