The session covers the governance and compliance capabilities of Microsoft Fabric, including endorsement, metadata scanning, and lineage. We’ll explore how to curate, manage, and present data as quality, fit-for-purpose products tailored to specific use cases and user personas. The session covers Data Quality Management (DQM), Master Data Management (MDM), and the use of health controls to maintain data health across your Microsoft Cloud environment. We will explain how Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview work together to provide a seamless data governance experience. You’ll see how these tools integrate to offer comprehensive solutions, from Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and sensitivity labels to auditing and domain-level governance, streamlining management and enhancing data quality.

By the end of this session, you’ll be able to use Microsoft Purview to discover, classify, and protect data; implement Data Loss Prevention strategies; conduct auditing to ensure compliance; build and maintain high-quality data products; and integrate Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview into a unified data governance strategy.
