Building MCP Servers: Turn Your Personal Health Data into an AI Advisor

Your devices silently collect 10,000+ data points about you daily. Your continuous glucose monitor captures readings every minute. Your smartwatch knows your heart rate, sleep patterns, and stress levels. Yet somehow, we fail to turn this data into insights about our health.

What if your personal data could become your most knowledgeable health advisor?

In this talk, we'll create a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables Large Language Models to discover patterns in your health data that you'd never spot on your own.

Using familiar technology, you'll learn to build MCP servers that bridge the gap between data collection and intelligence. The pattern we develop applies far beyond health, the applicable code patterns can be used to bridge the gap between external tools and data sources using this standardised protocol.
