Orchestrating Jakarta EE Modulith Applications With Camunda

There is an endless debate about the superiority of microservices over monoliths, or vice versa. But in practice, not all architecture choices are binary. This talk aims at using the Jakarta EE Platform to show how to develop modular applications or moduliths, grouped together and orchestrated through the use of business process management platform Camunda.

The talk will show through sample code how the Jakarta EE platform is suitable for developing applications using either paradigms, and how real world applications can be developed using a hybrid architecture and seamlessly orchestrated with business process automation.
