In this session we will build a database step by step: choosing the right service model, configuring access (networking and authentication), connecting with client tools, and performing the first basic administration tasks. We will wrap up with the essentials to operate confidently: point-in-time restore, scaling, and basic monitoring, with a focus on the aspects that most affect costs and day-to-day operations.
