Session
From Burgers and Bikes to Team Topologies
Great ideas often come from the most unexpected sources. In this talk, I’ll show how drawing analogies from diverse industries such as a fast food giant and their kitchens or engineering behind bicycles - can be connected to modern practices, agile ways of working and Team Topologies concepts.
I’ll explore the connections that have inspired me, aiming not only to deepen our collective understanding of Team Topologies but also to spark curiosity about the analogies all around us.
When you learn a topic from different viewpoints and use analogies to link concepts, you’re more likely to build flexible, lasting understanding.
It’s a powerful way to teach yourself, or explain to others - so that the material “clicks” on a deeper, more intuitive level and unlocks powerful insights into 'why' 'what' and 'how'.
These fresh perspectives help us communicate more effectively, spark genuine enthusiasm, and drive meaningful action - ensuring that Team Topologies concepts truly resonate within our organizations and/or customers.
