Azure Automanage - Your VM service provider
Many customers use Azure VMs because of existing legacy applications and the rapid migration of on-prem systems to the cloud using lift and shift. However, Azure VMs are based on IaaS and therefore the administration overhead remains high. With Azure Automanage, Microsoft introduced a service at the end of 2020 to significantly minimize the necessary operational activities for Azure VMs. Azure Automanage is more or less a service provider for Azure VMs and can automatically activate the specified guidelines for Azure VMs. In this session, we will take a close look at Azure Automanage. What distinguishes this service, how can it be set up and how can I manage different environments (e.g. Dev and Prod) differently.
This session will dive into the different aspects of Azure Automanage and how this service helps to reduce my Ops for Azure VMs. Session is for IT Manager, Cloud Administrators and Cloud Architects and will have a ratio of 60:40 of slides to demos
