Although SharePoint have at its disposal a pretty powerful search engine, it is available only for the internal information inside SharePoint self, somehow in SharePoint InPrem systems, and, with some limitations, to systems made available through the SharePoint Business Data Connectivity services. If we want to open the information accessible worldwide to SharePoint, we can use the Azure Bing Search Services, a subsystem of the Azure Cognitive Services. In this way, SharePoint can combine the knowledge existing not only internally, but in the wide world of Internet as well, braking open a plethora of possibilities, limited only by the imagination of the designer and the customer requirements.
