The OWASP ASVS Security Evaluation Templates project provides a set of Nuclei templates designed to automate the process of evaluating web applications against the OWASP Application Security Verification Standard (ASVS). This project addresses the challenges of manual ASVS assessment by offering security professionals an easy-to-use, customizable solution for identifying potential vulnerabilities. This session will introduce the templates, demonstrate their practical application, and discuss how they can be integrated into existing security workflows. We will highlight how these templates can improve efficiency and accuracy in web application security testing. Attendees will be encouraged to explore, utilize, and contribute to this open-source initiative, ultimately strengthening the security posture of their web applications.
