Power Platform Governance & Adoption Grand Tour

A Center of Excellence could start off, quite simply, with a single individual using provided tools and best practices to get a view of their Microsoft Power Platform adoption in an organization. And it might grow into a more mature investment, with multiple functions and roles to manage multiple aspects of governance, training, support, and automated app deployment across the organization. We encourage you to understand where you are in your adoption journey and invest accordingly.

In this workshop, we will focus on the following strategy for getting started with your journey of establishing a Center of Excellence (CoE):

• Plan your strategy and vision for what you want to achieve with Power Platform, how you will measure success adoption and ensure ongoing engagement.

• Secure by establishing data loss prevention policies and setting up environments to better control who builds what.

• Monitor your usage, see who is creating apps, what apps are being created, and how they are used. Use telemetry to identify trends and refine your Center of Excellence.

• Automate your governance and management policies through tooling approaches to reduce manual effort using the Center of Excellence Starter Kit.

• Extend by incorporating your own policies and processes into the Center of Excellence Starter Kit.

• Nurture by providing training and best practices and fostering a strong community of makers.
