There are powerful use cases that are available with AWS Nitro Enclaves, like running processes on sensitive health data or protecting financial trading algorithms. But Nitro Enclaves are still complicated for most developers to run themselves. We set out to build Cages to make this process easy, with a built in web server, attestation features, and metrics. In this talk, you will learn how we built Cages including our architectural choices and problems that we ran into along the way. You will leave with a better understanding of our approach and tips on what to look out for should you choose to build your own (or use our open source repos).
