This session is a technical walkthrough of the Azure Cosmos DB .NET SDK using VS Code Notebooks. Instead of conceptual slides, we will work through a series of executable C# blocks to demonstrate how the database behaves in a local development environment.

We will begin by establishing a zero-cost local dev loop using the Azure Cosmos DB Emulator. From there, we will implement standard CRUD operations, investigate the mechanics of Vector Search for AI-integrated applications, and demonstrate the Data Migration Tool for migrating datasets to the cloud.

All notebooks and code samples will be available for attendees to clone and run locally.
