Create your first web mapping project using Open Source and Open Data

[OpenStreetMap](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenStreetMap) (OSM), also known as the Wikipedia of maps, is the largest source of open [geodata](https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geodato) ([ODbL license](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright)) in the world, complemented by a rich ecosystem of open source geospatial technologies.

In this workshop we will create a simple web mapping project using open source tools with which we will learn what the OSM data model looks like and how we can use it in our projects.

> Note: As of today, the OSM community consists of +10 million users over the last 20 years who have contributed +10 billion data from all over the world for a total of +100GB of compressed data.
