When you activate the “Location History” of Google Maps you can travel back in time thanks to the “Timeline” of Google Maps, but have you ever thought about downloading your data through takeout.google.com and see what else you can get out of it?

In this workshop we will see tools that will allow us to visualize, filter, and explore the hundreds of thousands of locations per year registered per year in our Google Maps account, to be able to answer questions like: how many times have I been in X in the last year, when was the last time I was in Y, how many kilometers by subway/bus/bike/car/.... (approximately) have I done in the last month?, etc.
