In the era of rapid digital advancement, schools today are struggling to maintain the relevance of their classes due to rapid changes in the job market. How can analogue age teaching style prepare kids for the future workforce? The way we teach today is not relevant for tomorrow.
Schools are obliged to innovate to sustain their development by building a strong ICT infrastructure to accommodate 21st-century learning demands for K-12 students focusing on STEM concepts. However, it is not enough to simply add technology to existing teaching methods. Technology must be used strategically to benefit students with quality digital content with strong academic relevance to provide effective learning.
A presentation is based on the feedback from over 753 educators worldwide, about innovative technology in education and outside of the classroom, its influence on the future of the kids with the focus on Augmented Reality (AR). The information on the importance of the use of emerging technologies as one the main steps for education to catch up with industry revolution 4.0. This presentation gives a general overview on how AR can be beneficial for both educators as a tool and kids as an educational aid that involves all the senses: audio, visual and kinetic.
