What gets measured gets communicated

Projects need to be fun in two ways: Coding (which is a given in most cases) and Communication (which, unfortunately, is rather rare). Every now and then, somebody adds “improve communication” in retros or the next sprint. But what do you actually improve?

Peter Drucker has gifted us with the lovely sentence “What gets measured gets managed”, and the same is true for communication. In this talk, we make your communication observable.

But do not worry! We won't make it overwhelming. Luckily, psychology has done a lot of research about communication in tech teams. There are exactly 6 points that make it into all of those meta-analyses and are shown to be especially important. So bring your colleagues, sit next to strangers for a review during the talk, and get ready for a step to step guide to make your communication more fun to work with.
