Optimized the existing infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. A thorough analysis was conducted on the differences between Gen1 and Gen2 cloud functions, optimizing the use of GCP functions. We enhanced interactions with the database by optimizing queries and indexes, utilizing smaller and more cost-effective virtual instances. Additionally, we migrated some functionalities to Compute Engine and Kubernetes Engine, leveraging the advanced features of these services to reduce computational costs. A key factor is efficiently utilizing the warm state of resources.
