Session
A presentation about doing presentations… with AI
This session is not about Copilot… really, I promise. We will discuss primarily multiple external solutions, not just Microsoft ones.
I will show how modern AI tools can transform the way technical presentations are created, structured, and delivered. Not by replacing the presenter - but by helping them think, research, design visuals, test narratives, and even challenge their own ideas before stepping on stage.
You’ll see how AI can assist in the entire presentation lifecycle: from the first rough idea, through research and storytelling, to slide creation and rehearsal. Along the way, we’ll also talk about the traps - hallucinations, over-automation, generic content, and why blindly trusting AI is a great way to ruin a perfectly good talk. I will also show you multiple tools for image, diagram, and, obviously, presentation generation.
Expect practical demonstrations, controversial opinions, and an honest look at how presenters can use AI as a creative co-pilot rather than a content factory.
By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with practical techniques to:
- Generate better presentation structures and narratives using AI
- Turn rough ideas into clear talk outlines
- Rapidly prototype slides, visuals, and examples
- Use AI for research, fact-checking, and idea validation
- Avoid the most common AI presentation pitfalls
Whether you're preparing conference talks, internal demos, or customer presentations, you’ll learn how to work with AI without losing yourself in the process. Parts of this presentation may or may not have been created with AI. You can bet on that!
