I worked as a Microsoft 365 Platform Owner for a large enterprise with millions of customers and over 9,000 employees. The role involved delivering strategies for Governance, Adoption, Copilot, and Data Security; managing the Microsoft 365 roadmap; engaging with stakeholders; and overseeing scrum delivery with DevOps. Last but not least, it included managing and inspiring team members.

With over 15 years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, I thought the role would be straightforward. In reality, working in a large enterprise proved to be far more complex, challenging, and frustrating than I had anticipated.

I’d love to have a fun and open discussion with other Platform Owners, Microsoft 365 Administrators, and—ideally—a Microsoft representative about managing Microsoft 365 in relation to four key areas: Governance, Adoption, A.I., and Data Security. Attendees will learn from our challenges, mistakes, and recommendations, and walk away with insights they can apply to their own roles and projects.
