Session
Using AI on Your Board Journey
AI can be a valuable thought partner throughout the board journey, from identifying target companies and researching opportunities to strengthening your positioning, preparing for conversations, and maintaining momentum.
In this practical session, Jenny Kay Pollock shows current and aspiring board members how to use AI tools more intentionally without outsourcing the judgment, relationships, and credibility that board service requires. Participants learn how to improve their research, sharpen their narrative, prepare stronger questions, and create a more focused board-search process.
The session also addresses where AI can introduce risk, including inaccurate information, generic positioning, privacy concerns, and overreliance on automated outputs.
Attendees leave with practical ways to use AI as a strategic support tool while keeping human judgment, trust, and relationship-building at the center of their board journey.
