**OpenParrot: A Sovereign Multi-Agent Architecture for Production-Ready AI with Local LLMs ...
OpenParrot is not just another chatbot; it is a platform for productive, cross-channel AI assistants. At its core lies a modular multi-agent architecture: requests from various sources—such as Telegram, email, CLI, or web—enter through a strictly separated connector layer. They are processed within an orchestration layer, combined with tools and skills, and stored alongside session history, runtime data, and audit information. In this system, Security by Design is not an add-on but a fundamental part of the core architecture.
This session demonstrates how initial assistant concepts can be transformed into a resilient, enterprise-grade system architecture. Key components include specialized services, HTTP/JSON interfaces, configurable agents, multi-user capabilities, user-specific context, controlled tool execution, SBOM-based traceability, and a security model featuring internal segmentation, mTLS, and dedicated secrets management.
A primary focus is placed on digital sovereignty and enterprise readiness. OpenParrot can be operated with local models via Ollama, handling speech processing locally while simultaneously connecting to external or European-hosted models through swappable provider profiles. The presentation bridges the gap between architectural decisions, practical operational reality, and the experience gained from balancing flexibility, security, traceability, and multi-user operations in daily use.
