My plan with this talk is to explain in detail how select work under the hood. select is probably one of this tools that we have for concurrency that is not as easy to understand than others, and understanding how is it implemented can facilitate the understanding of how to use it.

My intention is to cover some details on the optimizations that happens at compile time and the details about the selectgo functions that is what is executed at runtime when that statements is found in the code.
