While we all thought IaaS would slowly become less relevant in the cloud, the opposite is the case. In this session, we will see how one can build up a full DevOps project with approval flows and pipeline automation in order to publish images to internal Azure Compute galleries.

We will have a look at both a user-friendly, purely file-based approach as well as an approach using Packer and their similarities and differences.

We will examine both Windows and Linux images and you will get a working approach how to manage image customizations easily and with as little typing as possible.
