Enterprises face a critical choice: prioritize cloud-native transformation or embrace AI-driven innovation. Cloud-native adoption enhances agility but adds complexity, while AI infrastructure requires new paradigms for scalability, governance, and security. At China Merchants Bank, we leveraged Platform Engineering to unify both, evolving from a large-scale cloud-native platform into an AI-powered engineering framework in "One-Track Pattern". By integrating technologies (KubeVela, OpenTelemetry, eBPF, etc) with AI infrastructure (Kubeflow, PyTorch, vLLM, etc), we enhanced DevOps, observability, and compliance while enabling enterprise AI adoption. This session shares our strategic practice, technical insights, and reference architecture for organizations to gain both benefits from cloud-native and AI transformation.
