Human civilization depends not just on energy – without fresh water, it will simply cease to function. The good news is that efficient water usage through IoT “edge” technology paired with machine learning and analytics may just make all the difference. I’ll demonstrate a small-scale vegetable garden watering system controlled by Raspberry Pi and monitored via Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for efficient water usage.
