AI Unwrapped: How we made a christmas calendar app only using AI generated Code
This year, at Avinor we wanted to try both AI and Blazor at the same time and decided to combine them to create a digital Christmas calendar for the holidays.
To make it more difficult for ourselves, we chose to not write any code ourselves but solely rely on the code given to us by tools such as ChatGPT and other AI tools.
In this talk, I will share the prompts we used to get this project going, how we got lost along the way, and how we got real practical experiences of the benefits and failures of using AI as a tool.
I will also touch upon other fun office games/projects that I have made over the last year with the use of ChatGPT, Claude AI etc.
You'll see examples demonstrating the varied behaviors of AI tools, everything from successes to unusable outputs, some of which were humorously off the mark.
The goal of this talk is to inspire the audience to explore new technologies by engaging in projects within knowledge-sharing forums. Simply dive into a fun project and see where it leads you.
This is an entertaining talk about fun projects with potentially a live demo and humourus responses. A lightning version of this talk was delivered at NDC Oslo 2024
