Logging, Metrics, and Traces: Observability for .NET Developers
Have you ever had the desire to attach your debugger to the live site, simply to know what the application is doing in production? But that is not possible or allowed by operations. But what if logging, metrics, and traces can help you gain this insight?
In this session, we will dive into observability, a very good way to troubleshoot your code. I will share what the different terms mean and how you can apply them to gain this very needed insight in your running applications.
You will see a lot of live coding demos where I will show you how to apply the different options in a real-world scenario and how to gain access to the information you gathered. By the end of the talk, you will leave with enough insights to apply these techniques to your own codebase.
