How to Share Board Games Between Yourself and 600 of your Closest Friends
Ever bought a board game that wasn't as cool as you thought it might be?
Got something for the kids that they've just outgrown?
Getting flack from the family because your collection is growing to consume every corner of the house?
We have the solution! It's a math trade. Math trades use exciting algorithms from graph theory to facilitate board game trades amongst potentially hundreds of participants. In this talk we'll talk through the problems involved in trading board games amongst large groups of people, how to model the problem mathematically, and then dig into algorithms that can efficiently calculate optimal trades.
