Telemetry data is exploding, and traditional transaction database management systems are simply not designed to for this type of data. Azure Data Explorer (ADX), or "Kusto" is a non-traditional, high-performance, big data analytics platform that makes it easy to analyze high volumes of data in near real time. ADX is the engine behind Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

This session is an introduction to ADX for users that may be more familiar with traditional database systems, like SQL. It will cover the main features of ADX, where it is, and isn't appropriate, and how to get data in and out of it. After attending this session, you will know if ADX is a good choice for you.
