As students are transitioning into a new campus, state, or even country, many may become discouraged and afraid to let their “true colors” show. Identity-First Leadership, a leadership style, aims to encourage OTR leadership staff to lead with confidence in how they identify. This way, new students recognize the safe environment they are transitioning to in which holds many identities, diversity, and values of inclusion.
