The central idea of this workshop is to explore why Astro is changing the way we build static websites. Throughout the workshop, we'll compare Astro with popular frameworks like Next.js, Vue, and React to understand what sets it apart and what makes it so effective for static sites. Although Astro is framework-agnostic (you can use React, Vue, Svelte, etc.), in this workshop, we'll build a site entirely with pure Astro to showcase its full potential without relying on external libraries.
