Every year, WebAim studies the global state of accessibility by analyzing the top 1 million homepages (https://webaim.org/projects/million/). In the analysis from last year (February 2024), nearly 50 million different errors were detected, with an average of 50 errors per site. Interestingly, 96% of the errors can be grouped into 6 categories, and these have remained the same for 6 years.

In this talk, we will review the tools that Google Chrome offers from scratch to analyze accessibility, as well as other extensions you can install to detect these 6 categories of issues. This will help ensure your website doesn't contribute to increasing these metrics in the future.
