Applying Enterprise Integration Patterns to Azure: A Modern Approach to Cloud Integration

Enterprise Integration Patterns by Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf is considered by many to be the book that took what was once an art, and turned it into a science.

More than 20 years since its publication, these patterns still hold up, and in this session, we’ll examine how modern, cloud-native architectures with Azure Integration Services can implement them.

We will look at some of the most frequently used patterns in the sections of the book pertaining to Message Construct, Message Routing, Message Transformation, Messaging Endpoints, Messaging Channels, and Systems Management.

Using actual scenarios, we will demonstrate these patterns using Azure services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid, as well as how they can contribute to solution design that is scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.
