Save time and the planet 🌎 with serverless Quarkus!
The job of many software developers is to create algorithms and programs that handle business transactions according to established protocols. But testing and operating these programs depends on capabilities in their development and production environments - from compute, network and storage to higher-level capabilities like databases, identities and monitoring. How can we enable developers to rapidly develop transaction handlers that can be run and tested rapidly and reliably in both their development contexts and production datacenters? Enter Quarkus and serverless.
In this talk we'll demo how Quarkus makes logic developers happy by enabling rapid iteration, injecting backing services, and providing instant feedback and telemetry. And we'll show how "serverless" makes _operators_ happy by enabling them to manage and scale infrastructure and supporting capabilities independently of the programs they run. Finally, we'll show how Quarkus and serverless come together to maximize development _and_ operational efficiency. Save your developers' precious time and the planet with serverless Quarkus!
