Using web3 Tokenomics to Incentivize Open Source Contribution

Open Source Contribution relies on unpaid volunteers to maintain the global infrastructure, which makes it unreliable and unsustainable. Drawing from the success of web3 tokonomics to drive self-sustaining communities that motivate contributors and align economic incentives between users and builders. My talk with highlight examples and case studies of web3 and how to utilize Game theory and other web3 techniques to align incentives amongst ecosystem players to amplify the spirit of open source. I will also share similar projects that I have worked on and then explain how contributors and organizations can help technical and non technical contributors to earn and participate financially and otherwise
