Session
The AI-Powered .NET Developer Workflow
AI is becoming a practical part of how modern .NET teams design, build, test, and maintain software. This session shows what an AI-powered workflow looks like today and how you can bring it into your day-to-day development process.
We will look at how GitHub Copilot, Copilot Agents, and other AI-assisted tooling fits into routine development work, including code analysis, test generation, refactoring, build and debugging assistance, and understanding unfamiliar or legacy codebases. We will also highlight patterns that pair well with these tools, such as semantic code search and the emerging AI libraries available in the .NET ecosystem.
You will see practical examples of developers working with AI as part of their normal workflow, along with clear guidance on when human judgment is still required. The session closes with recommendations for guardrails, team processes, and adoption strategies that keep code quality high while allowing AI to accelerate development.
