Documentation is the single most common procedure in EMS. Poor documentation contributes to adverse clinical outcomes and can hinder or even end the career of an individual EMT. This workshop takes a fresh look at teaching students what to write and how to write it. Instructors will learn how to add as much as 5 hours of documentation instruction without revamping an existing training program. We will investigate classroom practices that turn experience in the field into a sensible narrative on a PCR.
