The Galactic Workplace - Copilot & Purview on the New Frontier of Work

Not so long ago, work felt predictable. People made decisions and systems followed. Today that reality has changed. Organizations operate in an environment where information moves constantly, teams collaborate across boundaries, and decisions are shaped by many inputs at the same time. Work no longer moves in straight lines. It feels more like a galaxy where people, technology, and information move at different speeds while still needing to move in the same direction.

In this session we explore what leadership looks like in that new frontier. Rather than focusing on features or tooling, this session looks at what actually changes inside organizations when new ways of working appear. Copilot and agents influence how people prepare, collaborate, and make decisions, while Purview helps organizations create clarity around information, responsibility, and trust as work evolves. Together they raise a more important question than what technology can do. The real question is who designs the environment in which people and technology work together.

This session moves beyond tools and focuses on leadership, responsibility, and organizational design in a changing workplace. Through practical examples and real world experiences, we discuss how organizations balance speed with control, how governance can enable innovation instead of slowing it down, and what leaders need to rethink when new forms of collaboration become part of everyday work.

Because in this new world, speed alone does not define successful organizations. Direction, clarity, and trust do.
