Humans have a tendency to try to organize the world around us. RESTful APIs follow this trend -- everything is parent-child objects with CRUD operations and relationships between the objects. But the world is a lot less organized than we'd like to imagine. This talk explores the edges of API design and how easily seemingly simple concepts fall into chaos.
