We will look at data collected from real contributors and maintainers from dozens of projects, analyzing how the behavior of maintainers disproportionately affects the health of a project and deep-diving into public problems from across open source. After covering the impact of bad behavior from maintainers, we will cover how to prevent these scenarios from happening in the first place and how to correctly address it in the moment when something does go wrong.
