This session explores the architecture and deployment of multi-region AI applications on Azure. Learn how to deploy models across regions for performance, compliance, and resilience. We’ll compare Pay-As-You-Go vs. Provisioned Throughput Units (PTU) for Azure OpenAI, and examine how to use Azure API Management for intelligent load balancing and regional routing. The talk will also cover supporting services, such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, and Cosmos DB, as well as the patterns required to keep data and compute in sync across different geographies.
