Building AI Transversal Capabilities at National Bank of Canada

Focusing on employee experience and simplifying their interaction with AI enabled features and tools, has allowed us to design, implement and deploy ‘AI transversal capabilities’ using GenAI.

During this session we will share how aligning our organization by domains helped shift the mindset of our line of business in terms of projects, processes and especially promoting domain-oriented data ownership - with the benefit of improving data quality - enabling us to start more efficiently AI (Artificial Intelligence) and AA (Advanced Analytics) projects. We will discuss our current AI strategy and how it fits with our strategic priorities and our governance model. It’s important for us to share not only successful patterns but also partial successes or even failures; they are part of our transformation journey. We will also share specific learnings related to our chatbot platform (now in its 3rd version) and what features are currently prioritized (and how priority is set) by our business partners.
