At some point in your career you're going to be asked to implement a lightbox: to let users zoom in on an image and cycle through a gallery. Lets see how far we get with modern HTML and CSS using Dialogs, view transitions and CSS-only carousels.
We'll build up the lightbox together, taking accessibility, maintainability and UX into account at each step, and see how far we'll get!
