This session guides participants through identifying these assumptions, recognizing harmful self-compensation strategies, and adopting tools to strengthen mental well-being. Attendees will leave equipped to lead authentically, assert their perspectives, and foster a culture that values all voices.

Format: Interactive presentation with discussion and reflection exercises; adaptable as keynote or workshop.
Preferred duration: 30 to 90 minutes; flexible depending on event schedule.
Target audience: Women leaders, emerging professionals, and anyone interested in equity, in leadership; suitable for all levels.
Previous deliveries: Presented in January 2022 at the Women’s Leadership Summit 2022, Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York..
Additional notes: Attendees will examine the difference between their coping behaviors and true problem-solving strategies, and how self-censorship may have limited their voice. A note-taking method is recommended for insights.
