Today, identity is the new perimeter, and customers have hybrid setups with both Entra ID and AD On-Premises. Protecting identities in the cloud is a challenge, one that grows even larger when the mindset remains focused on on-premises solutions.
Zero Trust is an ongoing journey, and I will show you where to modernize and secure your hybrid infrastructure for both admins and users. This session will focus on new features available in public preview or general availability.
Using daily practical examples, we will look at how Protected Actions, Password Strength, Pass Keys, and other features can make sense for you

Good knowledge of Active Directory is recommended. And good knowledge of Hybrid Setup is helpful.

Hybrid configurations are prevalent, and identity synchronization is a crucial mechanism within such setups. Identities are not merely transitioning from On-Premises to MS Entra ID; rather, Entra ID serves as a central hub where numerous functions and technologies come into play, such as:
- Entra Cloud Sync
- Lifecycle Workflows
- API / HR-Driven Provisioning, among others.
We will explore which tool fulfills specific requirements in your strategy. The presentation will focus on a model company to provide practical examples of how these technologies are configured.

Vielmehr dient Entra ID als zentraler Knotenpunkt, an dem zahlreiche Funktionen und Technologien auf ihren Einsatz warten, damit Identitäten für den Benutzer einsatzbereit und sicher bleiben.
